AVR ATXMEGA128 ATMEL Microcontroller Board

Just arrived our new high performance XMEGA Controller based on the latest AVR XMEGA Microcontrollers from Atmel®. This state-of-the-art controller board includes many features not available in other controller boards, including 12-bit accuracy A/D converters, separate DMA controllers to reduce CPU load, ultra-low power operation with new picoPower technology. The new XMEGA Controller board is ideal for a wide variety of embedded applications, requiring high-speed, low power and high accuracy. The controller is ideal for use in alternative energy systems or low power remote monitoring applications, as well as a central control unit for machinery, security or irrigation systems.

This board features in-circuit program download for easy updates and program changes using the pre-installed bootloader. This can be done with the controller in place, or on-site. All port pins on the microcontroller are brought out to standard IDCC Headers for easy connection. Two UART's are connected to a standard RS232 driver IC, for easy computer interfacing and programming. A standard Micro SD Card socket is provided for data storage and easy access to stored data. An on-board standard 32kHz crystal provides a Real Time Clock with low power operation. All necessary power supply components are included together with a low voltage requlator for the microcontroller and the various support components. A standard JTAG connection is provided for easy debugging and testing. Test led's and pushbuttons are included for program development, as well as a standard Reset Pushbutton. The board is compact in size and can easily be mounted in existing machinery or embedded system.

The XMega Controller is based on the new ATXMega128 microcontroller from Atmel® . This microcontroller is one of the most powerful AVR Microcontrollers on the market. Included within the microcontroller is a massive 128k of Flash Program Memory, enabling easy rewriting and a huge storage space for large programs. The microcontroller also includes 8kbytes of RAM and 2kbytes or EEPROM, allowing a large temporary storage area for data values and also for permanent values to be retained when the power is disconnected from the board. A highly accurate sixteen channel 12-bit A/D convertor is included, making the system ideal for reading real-world and analog data. The 12-bit accuracy is makes this a product leader over the standard 10-bit accuracy in other microcontrollers. Four channels of 12-bit D/A converter ouputs are also available. A real-time counter, together with a large number of 16-bit timers are also available, included as standard is the SPI and I2C communications interface. The ATXMega128 core is a high throughput RISC processor allowing up 32 MIPS, as well as low power operation.

Our new XMEGA Controller, is the latest state-of-the-art Controller Board, with high-speed, low power and 12-bit accuracy A/D inputs. The XMEGA Controller is ideal for use in real-world monitoring applications as well as low power alternative energy solutions and remote applications.

    Now Available, our most powerful Control Board ever, the new ARM2368 Controller. This controller is extremely powerful, featuring the new LPC2368 ARM Microcontroller from NXP. This versatile microcontroller is designed for the most serious embedded applications, with 512kBytes of on-board program flash memory combined with a speed of up to 72 MHz. Together with high accuracy A/D channels, D/A Converter, CAN Networking, standard USB 2.0 connection as well as an Ethernet connection, making this controller ideal for the professional embedded designer.
    The new LPC2368 Microcontroller from NXP includes a huge 512kB Flash Program Memory space, ideal for the largest of applications. Together with a total of 58kB of Data Ram space, which is perfect for large data-logging applications. The microcontroller also features a high-speed, high-performance, ARM7 core with a maximum speed of up to 72 MHz. The LXP2368 is ideally suited for networking and real-time monitoring a total of 6 10-bit A/D Channels, these ADC's feature a fast conversion rate. Also included within the microcontroller is a 10-bit DAC, PWM output, numerous timers plus a JTAG interface for easy program debugging.

    All the necessary support components are included on the board, with a Power LED, 3.3V voltage regulator, RS232 UART, Battery Back-Up, LCD Connector with contrast adjustment, plus a reset and load switch for program execution and download. Programs can be downloaded directly via the standard RS232 port on-board or use JTAG Programmer & Debugger.

    Available now our most powerful PIC Controller to date, the new PIC18F8720 Microontroller board. Featuring the high performance PIC18F8720 Microcontroller with a massive 128k of internal Flash Memory. Optimized and ideal for large C programs, this small compact controller will suit the most demanding applications with heaps of features combined with high-speed operation.
    The PIC18F8720 Microcontroller Board is loaded with features, inlcuding an optimized core for high speed operation. Full linear program memory addressing for the full 128k of program memory. Hardware implemented 8 x 8 Multiply instruction. Additional external memory can be easily added for up to 2MBytes. Up to 16-Channels of 10-bit A/D Converters are included together with 5 Capture/Compare Modules and 2 USART ports. Up to 70 I/O points are available with all port connectors brought out to standard headers for easy connect and disconnect. In-Circuit program download is also provided, enabling the board to be easily updated with new code and modified as required, without the need to remove the microcontroller.
    All the necessary support components are included, together with a Power and Programming LED for easy status indication. Plus a reset switch for program execution and a RS232 connection for data transfer to and from a standard RS232 port, available on most computers.

Programs can be directly downloaded via a standard USB Connection together with the Microchip ICD2 In-Circuit Debugging tool or our PIC Programmer. Quickly develop and test programs with a wide range of accessories already installed on the board, combined with the versatility of a USB connection for easy data transfer and control.

    The Microchip® PIC18F4550 microcontroller is loaded with features, including a large 32kbytes of program memory, optimized for C programs and including a hardware multipy. This microcontroller also features a total of 13 input A/D channels, making the system ideal for use in real-world monitoring applications. The PIC18F4550 Development Board comes complete with the Microchip PIC18F4550 microcontroller pre-installed, together with the necessary crystal and power supply components, for a ready-to-run solution. Simply connect the power and download your program, using the easy to use programming interface and software, and your ready to start exploring the new PIC18 USB Microcontroller.

    Programs can be downloaded or updated directly to the microcontroller using the USB in-circuit programming interface together with a suitable programmer. The standard 6-pin Microchip IDC2 in-circuit-debugger connections are provided on the board, together with an additional RS232 connection for computer interfacing.
